Zaitoon Shah

As a change and transformation leader, I am passionate about leadership development, inclusive diversity, and purpose driven work. My purpose is to learn, accelerate and give back. I help teams and clients realizing their full potential enabling them to make a positive impact in their transformations.

One of my core strengths is being great at dealing with ambiguity and high complexity, quickly grasping the essence, and to develop clear and concise deliverables focusing on people and organizations. In my work I combine a strategic and structured business mind–set with a people centered approach. I am valued for my driver role in projects, creative approach and client–focused mind–set.

I hold a Master degree in Strategic Management and a Master degree in Organizational Change & Consulting from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. I always loved the combination of both strategic thinking and the transformation of people. Before joining Aberkyn I worked for Deloitte. First in their Strategy & Organization practice thereafter in their Human Capital practice working on Change Management, Leadership and Culture projects. I have worked in various change management roles within NYSE Euronext and worked as a coach and facilitator in leadership development at RISE.

I live in Amsterdam together with my husband. I am a passionate driver for the development of youth and women, as pro bono next to my professional career. I am the founder of Girls Forward, an organization focusing on empowerment and coaching of girls between 14–20. Besides this, I design and facilitate leadership programs for youth linked to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations for UNLEASH and World Merit.
